So… remember when that weather came in on our last visit… and I mentioned a cunning plan…? Well here it is – ‘The Return’! My trusty companion Mike ‘Myrtle’ Hayes (can also be sung to the tune of Purple Haze) & myself will be picking up the trail from Day 8 at 1279m in the little Swiss town of Trient. Then re-doing the last days of the TMB before spending a couple of days in Chamonix. This time we’ll also be doing something we didn’t manage last time – walking the Aiguille Du Midi Ridge at around 3842m… hopefully without falling off!
