Some years now since my last excursion, self-navigating around Mont Blanc certainly seemed like a good idea at the time…! The original ‘St Luke’s Six’ has indeed continued to change shape since the original trek to Everest Base Camp in January 2010, with just two of us remaining – my trusty compadre Mike (Myrtle) Hayes & myself. Although not a ‘fund-raiser’ per se, in light of my own experience with cancer earlier this year it felt right to do something – & many have generously offered sponsorship too. So here I am & here we go…!
